A Bit About Drinking In Utah…
If this is your first time here, the rules can be strange. But, we’re here to help you navigate them.
It’s true, state liquor stores are closed on Sundays, but you can still buy spirits and wine at select distilleries, or local wine venues. Ordering “a double”is not legal in Utah, but corkage is.
If you bring an interesting bottle of wine with you when you dine, the restaurant will happily open and serve your contribution for a small fee - and you ARE allowed to leave with whatever is left over in said bottle.
